This week, machine embroidery applique, freehand styles.
The backing fabric is (was) a woolen blanket, the applique is felt.
Pretty, and FUN. I soo enjoyed making these cute....

These were made for Christmas presents, one for my sister and one for me. I liked them so much, I had to keep one.
And one for my sister's husband too :)

ReplyDeleteGo for it! It can be a little easier if you start with a small project, like a table-runner (made like a quilt) or even smaller, then you can use an embroidery hoop to hold the fabric taut.
