Have you heard of Feedly?

I've been trying out another feed reader - a different blog reader to Google Reader, and different again to Bloglovin.

It's called Feedly and I've set it up as an add-on to the Mozilla Firefox browser that I use.  So far I am LOVING it.  Much more than Bloglovin, I'll be honest.

It's like a magazine - with all your favourite blogs in there looking like cute articles.

I love how it's laid out:  You can adjust your preferences (yes, there are preferences for the view and MUCH more that you can fluff around with to your heart's content).

You can look up one particular blog and view a snippet of all their latest posts at once - something which I couldn't do with Bloglovin.  Bloglovin only showed up the latest posts from the week... I couldn't figure out if or who to change it.

SO far, I'm very much liking Feedly.  It's much prettier than Google Reader, a tiny bit slower.  BUT it's WAY faster than Bloglovin.

Here's an example of what it looks like... (screen print taken one or two days ago).

I'm digging it.

To the left is all your options, and preferences!  I LOVE that I can change how it looks, colour layout etc.

How do you read your blogs?  Is there something else out there that is even better.... ?

xx

  1. Ooh, I like the look of this. Not really a huge fan of Bloglovin' but did the switch-over... thinking I might try this one! I'm not a big fan of internet change...

    1. Tell me about it! I 'googled' blog readers and this was the most used feed-reader and it has mostly really good reviews.

  3. I found feedly just this week as well, due to not liking bloglovin that much either and so far so good from me as well, except it is feeding from google reader so I am wondering what will happen when reader is gone but I guess we don't have to worry about that until July :)

  4. I was reading straight from blogger but apparently I'll lose that?

    1. No, you won't lose that... I think. It's only Google Reader that's going. It's a bit different to blogger - where you read your blogs through 'dashboard'. Is that how you read blogs?

      You're safe!
