About Me

Hi there, I'm Holly May B.

A little about me: I'm a believer! I'm also a New Zealander doing life in the United States (since 2014) with my husband of 9 years and our two children.

I paint, draw and sew any spare moment I get. Life (the weather) in Arizona is very different from New Zealand and consequently, I haven't made so many warm crochet blankets.  But, I have learned the love of quilting, and especially free-motion machine quilting.

Our journey to the United States

My husband arrived in the US in March, 2014. Our son and I were waiting in New Zealand for the immigration process to 'process' until we were allowed to go.  The waiting and not-knowing-when time apart was a hard, long, eight months.

All things work together for the good of those who love Him.

Along the journey of waiting, I began painting and drawing, lettering encouraging scriptures intentionally, most days, which led me to all the painting I do now.

It was a sharpening time in my life, God was creating a new spirit within me.

We all arrived in the States on the 26th of November, 2014 and drove to Arizona on Thanksgiving Day. Arriving just in time to have a welcome Thanksgiving dinner at my husbands' Aunt and Uncles' house.  And, my first taste of pumpkin cheesecake and candied yams!
