MADE it... {12}

This week I was SO inspired by Kristy's crochet flower (of Paisley Jade).

Once upon a time, I was on Pinterest (ok I'll be honest, I'm on there every-single-day) and I came across a crochet rose tutorial/pattern that I really liked (you can find the crochet rose tutorial here).  I knew it was the right pattern for the job - only I got carried away and made it about 3 times longer than the pattern says to.  This led to me getting rather impatient during the first couple of rows.

I was thinking 'peony' alright?!

Peonies are awesome.

Here's what I came up with...

I added a vintage button, felt and a hair clip.  And many thanks to my hot glue gun, putting on the clip and the felt were effortless.

By the way, do you know how hard it is to get a photo of  something in your own hair?  About 50-odd images hard.  Notice the table, or some clothes on the drying-rack in the background.
