Handmade Gifts - Beanies

My sister in law is living in a very cold part of the US so I made her a couple of beanies.  This was my starting point.

Here's what I ended up with.

I never would have thought that three 50gm balls of wool would have made two beanies.  I was expecting to only get one out of the whole lot.

I hope they're warm enough... they might make good 'night-caps'.
