What I love about this block is that it shows just how far I've come. This was the first block that I tried to free-motion quilt a flower (this block is the second one I quilted, in chronological order). If you take a quick look at 'block 1' I'll tell you a secret. Actually, I'll tell you anyway: this block's flower and block 1's flower should have looked the same.... Practice makes better, right?

I can't remember the exact order that I quilted the entire quilt, but I do remember the first two in order and the last 4 in order. I started in the middle and worked my way out. SO, tomorrow's block is (was) the first one I did on my big quilt. It's basic, it's where I started. See you here again, tomorrow.
